SCA on the GO - Ruth Crowe

Every Tuesday from February 7 - 28th.

Middle-schoolers are invited to join us at Fennville District library for four weeks of after school programming inspired by the work of local artist Ruth Crowe. Students will receive journals, experiment with different types of journal writing, and play with image transfers and many different art materials and creative processes. Meet Ruth Crowe and learn about her artwork while exploring new ways of creating! Students will leave the program with a finished mixed-media art piece.

Each visit builds on the last, attendance at all sessions is recommended.

Week 1: Learn about artist Ruth Crowe, explore art materials, and receive your own journal!
Week 2: Experiment with different journaling & mixed media art techniques.
Week 3: Meet artist Ruth Crowe and begin creating your final art piece.
Week 4: Continue to work creatively on your final artwork.
