Waiver Statement:

Camp Expectations Agreement: Any child attending an SCA program is expected to be kind, safe and respectful at all times. By registering for an SCA camp you acknowledge the following: The SCA is committed to a safe educational environment for all of our campers and staff, free from harassment, intimidation or bullying. We focus on redirecting any inappropriate behavior, as well as using positive narration to help encourage appropriate behavior. A very important part of our program is giving children the opportunity to learn how to get along in the world, enjoy being with other children, problem solve and follow the direction of an adult other than their parents. A caring and positive approach will be taken regarding behavior management and discipline. The SCA has a zero tolerance policy for hitting, fighting, bullying, verbal threats, destruction of property, and elopement (leaving their group) during our program. If these behaviors are exhibited the SCA Instructors are trained to contact parents for immediate pick up depending on the severity of the incident.

Media / Photography Consent: I hereby authorize that the Saugatuck Center for the Arts and its agents and clients irrevocable have the right and permission to repeatedly use, and publish any and all photographs taken of me and/or my child during events/classes at the SCA. I recognize these photographs and their copyright are the sole property of the SCA. I hereby release the Saugatuck Center for the Arts and their agents and clients from any and all claims and/or libel resulting from the usage of these photographs.

Snacks: The SCA will provide a daily snack sensitive to the food allergies of enrolled campers. Snacks will emphasize fresh fruit and healthy packaged snacks. You may send your camper with additional snacks of their liking if you so choose, but they must not be shared with other campers.

Cancellation and Refunds: In the event of a cancellation on SCA’s part due to unmet camp-size minimums, no alternative dates will be announced for this camp and the SCA will automatically process patrons refunds (minus processing fees). If you have registered for an upcoming class and are uncomfortable attending or unable to abide by our policies, contact the SCA box office at boxoffice@sc4a.org, at least 48 hours before the event's start time. Your registration (minus fees) will be exchanged for an SCA Art Pass gift certificate. If your child is ill, do not send them to camp. Contact the box office to notify them of the illness. Cancellations made within 24 hours or less due to illness will be exchanged with an Art Pass gift certificate.

Cancellations and refunds for any other reason will be processed as follows:
100% refund 30 days before the camp start date
50% refund or art pass 29-14 days before the camp start date
0% refund 13 days or fewer before the camp start date
